Educational Counseling Program
Our mission is "To optimize management of educational organizations” and for this purpose, we have developed a “Comprehensive Educational Counseling Program”, with different services addressed to the different members of the educational process, aimed at improving performance of human resources in educational institutes.
The purpose of Counseling is to bring about changes in the behaviour of the members of the organizations to optimize their performance and achieve a better fulfilment of institutional targets.
The target of ICAS Argentina Counseling Division is to comprehensively contribute to the optimization of the educational process by means of a program that contemplates the different sectors involved (students, teachers, executives, parents and non-teaching personnel) and the organization as a whole.
This program has been developed on the basis of a wide range of specific needs of educational organizations, for the purpose of providing the necessary tools and resources for these entities to achieve self management.
For the Organization
- Organizational Counseling: A service designed to facilitate and optimize decision taking processes, communication processes, management of the working teams, participation and the sense of belonging, in line with the Institutional Mission and Vision. This is to be addressed to the Management Team and other personnel involved..
- Telephone Employee Assistance Program ( EAP ): Telephone support and orientation for all school personnel attending to their personal and labor problems and minimizing the risks involved in the performance of their duties. Addressed to all the personnel of the institution.
For the different members of the educational team
- Training and Development: Its
role is to quality the different members of the educational process
in order to achieve optimization in the development of their specific
role in subjects such as: Leadership, Motivation in the school
environment, Mediator students, Learning-Service, Counseling abilities.
- Guidance: Specially designed
to educate and lead the guidance teaching team in the identification
and attention of behavioural aspects of the students that interfere
with their learning process. Includes training teachers
in Counseling skills in order to achieve adequate communication
with the students.
- Vocational Orientation: Help
students in choosing a career through a process covering the last
two years of High School.
- Orientation to Parents: Provide
families with listening, consulting and education techniques regarding
caring aspects that may affect the learning process of their children.
Addressed to fathers, mothers and/or guardians.
- Personal Orientation: Individual
consultation for solving personal and interpersonal conflicts that
hinder the learning process.
